Tamana Chona, a qualified nursery teacher, marathon runner and recipient of the National Award, was born as a spastic child with cerebral palsy. She has also been honoured with the Ambassador for Peace Award by the Universal Peace Federation. Despite many handicaps, her unyielding spirit has helped her become a landmark for other disabled children. Through her writings, Tamana conveys to the world that no matter how many disabilities one is born with, given the right environment, one can overcome all challenges. Aditi Mehrotra is a two-time gold medallist and diet consultant. With over two decades of nutritional expertise, she specialises in preventive and curative diets. In 1996, she started D.I.E.T. (Develop Intelligent Eating Traits). Aditi co-founded Arney’s Backyard, a school nutrition and health-based learning club, in 2008, with a vision to end the growing statistics of unfit children in India. She writes weekly columns in newspapers and is often quoted for her nutritional views in various magazines. She is also a nutrition consultant at Tamana NGO and plans special diets for the differently abled children.
